The Space Bag Storage Packs really work as promised. They do “make your stuff smaller”. If you have a storage problem, these bags will help you reclaim space to live in. What Space Bag Storage Packs work well for:
Store all the long unde timberlands rwear, fuzzy vests and insulated jackets that skiers accumulate.
Minimize the bulk of a college student’s clothing and linens during the drive to college. I have nightmares that the students will pop open the bags and their rooms explode as the contents expand.
What Space Bag Storage Packs don’t wor timberlands k well for:
Blue jeans and similar flat, dense materials will compress, but not as much as sweaters and blankets.
Clothing with crushable decorations, such as feather or flower trim, will be damaged.
How to use the Space Bag Storage Packs:
Before you fill the storage packs, make sure the items are clean and dry. Don’t iron or starch them.
Pack the items, making sure you don’ timberlands t pack past the “fill line”. Fold items with as few folds as possible. Snugly fill the bag with a timberlands single layer of large items or side by side stacks of smaller items.
Seal the “zipper”. Be careful not to pull the slider part off. It doesn’t hurt the zipper, but it isn’t easy to replace it onto the bag.
Vacuum the air out by removing the cap over the seal and placing the end of the vacuum hose onto it. Be careful to not vacuum the soft plastic seal into the vacuum it’s not easy to retrieve from the vacuum bag.
Store the compressed items. Although the bags are heavy plastic, but they are not invulnerable. One tiny pinhole and the contents will fluff up again. I have the ski and camping gear compressed in the Space Bag Storage Packs, and the storage packs are inside blanket boxes or plastic bins to protect them from pointed objects and abrasion.
Unseal the storage packs to retrieve the contents. Clothing will need ironing after you remove it from the storage packs. Don’t expect to pop the seal, remove a shirt and wear it immediately. It will look like a steamroller ran over it. Even towels and t shirts look better after a fluff in the dryer.
